Where The Wild Things Are was my favorite book when I was a kid. My mom used to read it to me so often that we both still have it memorized. I learned how to read with that book. So this is awesome. I’ve read some other interviews with him before and he’s such a badass cranky old man. I love it.
Maurice Sendak is the absolute best.
